This one’s personal.
Dani Wong and her siblings, Pame and Pavo, started Señor Mango as a tribute to their dad—he is Señor Mango. “He taught us everything we know about mangoes,” Dani says. “They’ve always been part of our family and culture.”

The idea was simple: take something deeply familiar and make it new again. Their mangoes are sourced from family farms in Mexico—often fruit that might otherwise go to waste—and transformed into bright, chewy, joyful snacks. Dark chocolate-covered. Dusted in chili. Spiked with matcha. “We wanted to make them fun and flavorful,” Dani says, “a mix of tradition and a modern twist.”
Matcha is her favorite. “Because I loooove matcha,” she laughs.
Every piece of the business reflects where they come from. Everything is made in Mexico. “By Mexican hands, on Mexican farms,” Dani says. “We’re proud to be a 100% Mexican company.”
But Señor Mango isn’t just about mangoes—it’s about doing things in a way that makes sense for the future. That means reducing food waste, using clean ingredients, keeping things natural, and supporting small farms and local economies along the way.

Dani’s now based in Austin, but Señor Mango still has one foot firmly planted in Mexico City. And while she’ll be the first to tell you that running a business isn’t all sunshine and snacks (“it’s a rollercoaster”), the growth they’ve seen over the past year has kept her going. That, and the kids. “Seeing babies enjoy Señor Mango always fills me with joy. It reminds me why we do this.”
At Parker + Scott, that mix of heritage, play, and purpose is exactly what we love. Señor Mango is the kind of brand you want in your bag, your pantry, and your corner. It’s snacks, yes—but it’s also story, legacy, and a whole lot of love.
