Jubilee’s: For the Days When Cheese Sticks Just Aren’t Enough

Ashley Waldman didn’t mean to start a flavored milk company. She was just trying to feed her kid something that wasn’t loaded with sugar.

After watching a documentary on how addictive sugar can be, she took a look at what was in her daughter’s cup and didn’t love the options. Everything “healthier” either tasted bad or was packed with hard-to-pronounce ingredients. Her background is in research, and her dad owns a beverage company—so she had a bit of a head start. She started asking questions, collecting feedback, and working with a formulator to see what was possible.

What came out of all that work is Jubilee’s—a flavored milk made with 95% milk, sweetened with vegetables, and totally free of added sugar. It’s the only drink on the market like it, and yes, she’s got a patent pending.

The first flavor she launched was Chocolate Chip Cookie. Her daughter calls it “cookie milk” and drinks it every day. “Honestly, it brings me so much relief,” Ashley told us. “Some days, the only other thing she’ll eat is cheese and meat sticks. But at least I know she’s getting something nutritious.”

That’s what makes Jubilee’s so special—it’s not just about the product. It’s about what it gives parents: one small win in a day that’s likely full of tough calls, half-eaten lunches, and food flung on the floor. As a parent-run shop, we get it. A lot of our customers do too.

Ashley’s running this company while parenting two kids, holding down a full-time job, and barely sleeping. “I’m usually on four hours a night,” she says. “But the chance to see my dream come to life? That keeps me going.”

Even the name has a bit of backstory. She originally called it “Rise’n’Shine,” but after a few surveys, it became clear people thought it was a breakfast juice. She turned to AI for help naming something “whimsical and playful” that didn’t sound like everything else on the shelf. “Jubilee” was one of the suggestions. It means joy, celebration, dessert. It felt right. She added the ’s and made it hers.

Jubilee’s is launching new flavors (Apple Fritter à la Mode, anyone?) and landing in stores like Sprouts this summer. It’s moving fast, but Ashley’s still in it for the same reason she started: to make life a little easier for parents and a lot better for kids.

At Parker + Scott, that kind of mission hits home. It’s why we carry Jubilee’s—and why we’re cheering for Ashley every step of the way.

You can follow her journey at @drinkjubilees or swing by the shop to grab a bottle. It tastes like a treat, but it’s made with real care. Just the way we like it.
